Two pieces of music written at almost exactly the same time, one for a Pope and one for a Tudor Queen, give a fascinating snapshot of the contrasting thoughts about music across Renaissance Catholic Europe.

Brahms ‘Ein Deutsches Requiem’

With Royal Northern Sinfonia and Chor Semiseria from Tübingen. Further details to be confirmed

Sunday 15 November 2020, Stiftskirche Tübingen

We return to Germany for a second performance of Brahms’ Requiem with Semiseria in the Tübigen Stiftskirche, conducted by Frank Schlichter, with Sinfonieorchester Neckar- Alb (SinfoNeA).
